All teams will play multiple pools of mini-tournaments on Saturday morning with their total points scored against them being recorded. These points will seed them for which final bracket they play a whole tournament in for finals on Saturday afternoon/evening. Finals brackets will be Golden, Elite, and Major brackets with even distribution of teams carrying over their scores from the previous pool play to start play with.
The Gold, Silver, and Bronze medal winners from Last years Open will be there to defend their titles from Omaha, NE.
Tri-Ball is the fast and furious twist on regular volleyball. Played on circular courts, divided evenly by 3 nets stretched from one center pole, it is more of a strategy game in which 2 teams may work together to add points to the third team. Points are scored AGAINST you for hitting the ball out, not getting a serve in, or an infraction of the rules. Low score wins this game.
Finals tournament bracket play gives every team 9 games, playing every team in your division at least once, and playing on every section of each court at least once.
All teams that are not on the court playing, must surround the courts and shag balls for those playing. Failure to do so by whole team or one player thereof, will get that team a 10 point addition to their total score.
